                 New Recreation Guidelines for 2012 - 2013

Explanation:

Game REC:

Cheerleaders must cheer for a sport during the year to qualify for this division plus guidelines below.

Club Cheer (formerly All Star Rec):

Do not cheer for games plus the guidelines below.

               ONLY guidelines that can be monitored will be used for 2012-13.

  1. Teams must declare at their first competition if they are Club Cheer or All Star. An All Star team may not cross in to the Club Cheer division for the season. Club Cheer may move into the All Star divisions but are locked into All Star divisions for the remainder of the season

2. No Club Cheer, Game Rec, or All Star Prep members are allowed to cross over to All Star teams or vice versa. No exceptions!

 

Scoring:

The All Star GRID will be used for all cheerleaders at Sc/CGA events.

Levels for 2012 - 13:

Novice:              Levels 1 & 2
Intermediate:    Levels 3 & 4
Advanced:         Level 5

 

Age Grid:              Same as All Star (age as of August 31, 2012)

Tiny:                           5 and younger
Mini:                          8 and younger
Youth:                      11 and younger
Junior:                     14 and younger
Senior:                     18 and younger

 

AGE GRID:

Novice – Tiny – Mini – Youth – Junior – Senior

Intermediate – Mini – Youth – Junior – Senior

Advanced - Youth – Junior – Senior
